ACHAMPS and its predecessor have been in operation since 1996. The company was started to provide the necessary support to airline operations for managing their crew accommodations with ease and efficiency. Prior to ACHAMPS' beginning, airlines sent a schedule to their client hotels leaving the hotel the responsibility of deciphering their schedule and providing a protocol for administration. ACHAMPS utilizes an airline's raw scheduling data to generate a database of room distributions for a city, allowing for varying crew size, hotel contract restrictions and union contract rules. This assures the rooms, in multiple hotel cities, are distributed in the most cost efficient manner. A data file for each hotel is generated which is placed on ACHAMPS' secure Internet server. Each hotel is provided password access to our web based program,  Using the Champ Printer web site, the hotel prints standardized sign-in sheets, pickup and drop-off schedules and a detailed monthly summary of room requirements. In addition the web site includes a standardized invoicing mechanism, which the hotel uses to submit their invoice electronically to their client airline via ACHAMPS, saving both time and money. ACHAMPS monitors a highly sophisticated Tax Database to insure that hotels are in compliance with State, County, and City Laws. The reconciliation process has saved client airlines hundreds of thousands of dollars, currently averaging just under 5% of the airline's total hotel budget.
